After the Interview / Assessment:

"Thank you for spending that golden hour with me. My brain is CHANGED! I’ll be in touch."
SM

After the program:

"All the things they say should happen after the program, have happened. It's made a huge difference in his reading and writing. As a parent I can endorse it 100 percent. I don't work with dyslexic kids myself, but I've never seen anything like this program."
Bob Lee, Headmaster, Parent of 'Corrected' Dyslexic

"All I can say is I'm aware he used to have severe behaviour problems and low self-esteem, and needed to be home-schooled. But he's fitting in nicely this year. His Mom, the teaching assistant and the childcare worker who'd worked with him before he took this program say the turn-around has been amazing."
Sandy Paterson, Special Education Teacher of 'Corrected' Dyslexic

"I'm a little amazed at how effective such simplicity can be. This is very simple stuff, much more simple than I could have imagined. I suspect the learning will 'bed' in and keeping contact will help it play out. Alongside the simplicity I'm also amazed at how enormous this is – how far reaching."
RC

6 Months Later:

"His level of self-confidence has gone up at school this year, he is doing better in class, he scored high on a science test and has thwarted the moves of a school bully. He told me that in science he could close his eyes and see the formula for a chemical compound that he needed to know!"
Mother of 'Corrected' Dyslexic Teen - 6 months after program

"When reading he now has maybe one incidence of spelling out per page - a lot fewer than 6 months ago. In Math he no longer reverses any numbers whatsoever. He is much clearer in his thinking and his reading is coming along quite nicely - he sees himself as a good reader and is often found reading comics! He is also able to recognize when he 'goes off' and get himself back."
Mother of 'Corrected' Dyslexic

One year later:

"It is very interesting to see the changes that have come about. In 1997 his Total Reading Score was in the 3rd percentile for his age. Now he is in the 21st percentile for age. He did some testing "off point" and then "on point" and was able to distinguish a big difference in his ability to perform tasks asked of him."
Mother of 'Corrected' Dyslexic

"After their (mother and son) return from your clinic we are amazed at the difference. They are happy and excited with the new tools at their disposal. They also saw progress quickly."
Resource Teacher of 'Corrected' Dyslexic

"My dyslexia was like a wound; in the past I've been given band-aids for it - now (having completed a Davis Dyslexia Correction(R) Program) I know how to heal it myself."
GH - 'Corrected' Dyslexic - at age 10

"I'm doing to do better at school because I did this program!"
BW - 'Corrected' Dyslexic - at age 10

After Math Mastery"I didn't have a picture in my head, I just wrote 10! It's like your brain knows about it before even thinking"
MP - 'Corrected' Dyslexic - teen

During the Program:

"After we left here, I read a book with 29 chapters and 152 pages! I actually enjoyed it 'cos I could read!"

"I'm glad that I'm a corrected dyslexic because it gives me more choice on how to do my school work and lets me know I'm really smart and creative. I can do anything that a normal person can do. I have ways of getting rid of the anger, frustration and can deal with the bullying I get."
NC - 'Corrected' Dyslexic - at age 13

"It (the program) was like heaven, heavenly school. Sometimes I wish I didn't have dyslexia because so many people say...he's doing well in spite of his dyslexia...and they just don't understand. But you (the Facilitator) totally get it because you are dyslexic, I'm glad you're dyslexic because you understand what it's like. I'd choose to be dyslexic because it's what makes me good at art, and math, it's special, it's a major gift."
DS - 'Corrected' Dyslexic - at age 9

"I get excited when things start clicking, and it's not often they do click! I don't have anything wrong with my memory. I can understand school. I didn't know I got that happy when I understand something!"
AG - 'Corrected' Dyslexic - teen

"This (the program) is the weirdest thing - this is working! I have undergone changes that mean I can now understand information in the paper world. I have the alphabet! It's possible to be less angry, the feeling is like a freedom! Here we are at the end of the week, and something has worked. It feels like hope is planted in the soil. I will be responsible for furthering my paper understanding - that is no small feat! I am brilliant, amazing, very proud of myself, I have overcome obstacles and peril, and regardless. I will continue."
AJ - 'Corrected' Dyslexic - adult

"I can remember stuff, I've got a gift. Good, I feel good about myself, that I've gotten a long way in this program. There's brain I never thought I had. Thank you for helping me learn about my gift."
BF - 'Corrected' Dyslexic - at age 14

"It (being Oriented) feels different - everything is different. It's (dyslexia) not a disability, it's a difference - it has it's upsides and it's downsides - it's a talent. We have a talent to be able to see things from different angles. I like having the 'gift'. The difficulties are worth having with the gift, and they aren't so big any more. Other programs try to make me read the way other people read - not the way I read as a dyslexic. So many different teachers have tried so many different ways. (In response to - do you think this program is going to work?) Yes, I feel more self-confident, I can read better and tell time. I'm not stupid, I am different and unique."
CR - 'Corrected' Dyslexic - at age 12

"My Mind's Eye is helping me with my fear... IT USED TO BE NO WAY - NO HOW NOW THERE IS A WAY AND THERE IS HOW. I feel better - my feelings feel like I'm one of the other kids. I feel great. I feel like someone who doesn't have dyslexia. I haven't been hyper, and I haven't been concentrating - I'm focusing."
CF - 'Corrected' Dyslexic - at age 9

"I've learnt how to do lots of things, writing, reading, spelling, telling time better, making words out of clay, making a dictionary in my head, how to play chess (not officially part of the program)!"
DS - 'Corrected' Dyslexic - at age 9

"I never looked at letters as symbols, I never saw the letters - I just knew the song. This (clay) really makes this fun! I never looked at letters as being fun! I could actually read for enjoyment - not to learn. I can't believe that I can pronounce words better and more easily! A week of a dyslexia course and my life's changed!"
GL - 'Corrected' Dyslexic - adult

"In school I spent a lot of time disoriented, I went through school in a daze, feeling very inadequate. This seems too easy, it so fits. Most things have been SO difficult. I just think in a different way. It's amazing how clearly I can see the letters with my Mind's Eye on the Point. I tried to figure it out in my head, then went On Point - it just came. It's blowing my mind away. It's too easy, I'm not supposed to be successful. I feel a sense of lightness and fun. I can honour that I am intelligent, and validate who I am."
JH - 'Corrected' Dyslexic - adult

"When I get distracted I want to see what's happening in my head. I'm glad I'm dyslexic, because it is a gift - I'll keep going (with the program) because I see improvement already and I want good marks."
KB - 'Corrected' Dyslexic - at age 11

"(Thursday morning of the program) I'm remembering my Dial to get to sleep - using my Point for driving, I conquered my fear of heights going over Capilano Suspension Bridge!!"
KW - 'Corrected' Dyslexic - adult

"[I felt] relieved, there was no chatter and surprised they (the pictures) were there. If I'd been relying on the sound, I would not have remembered any of it. I feel more aligned. I feel a huge energy shift going on. I like this a lot! I want to hold onto this feeling (Orientation) for ever!"
PC - 'Corrected' Dyslexic - adult

"I want to read all afternoon! When I look at a Dictionary now, I just flip through it - I can't believe it."
RB - 'Corrected' Dyslexic - at age 10

"Before I came here I couldn't dribble (a ball) at all and now I'm a dribbling maniac."
SH - 'Corrected' Dyslexic - at age 8

"This (program) guides dyslexics to a better life and I'd recommend this place 5 out of 5."
TB - 'Corrected' Dyslexic - at age 11

"This is what I need - I've never done this (catching) before."
TO - 'Corrected' Dyslexic - at age 11

"Actually yes I can (remember reading with Picture at Punctuation). I can still see the film. I can't believe I remembered that passage. I could never do that, I couldn't remember a single word. It's good to know I could do almost anything I wanted to. I could get pretty high up!"
CW - 'Corrected' Dyslexic - teen

"Being dyslexic is OK, and not something to be afraid of - and what is happening here (in the program) is better than anywhere else I have tried. I can get better and I will make it on some of the things that I want to do. I'm a lot happier and believe I can make it now. I like this guy (pointing to a model of himself)."
JF - 'Corrected' Dyslexic - at age 18

"[After a Fundamentals of Davis Dyslexia Correction (R) Workshop] the Davis Course has made a difference in my life, by having helpful info to offer parents and people in my own family."

"[After a Davis Symbol Mastery Workshop] I got so much out of it. It was actually rather life-changing! It seems that the more we know, the more there is to learn. Now that I understand that I too am dyslexic, but think in both pictures and words, there is so much to learn about recognizing the harder to recognize dyslexics. It also tells me that there must be many more people who would benefit from The Ron Davis Program than I ever thought before!"
